You can request these authorizations to manufacture, export, research, marketing, and distribute psychoactive cannabis derivatives for medical and scientific purposes, these licenses have a duration from one to five years, depending on the time you need them and in some cases, it can be less if you are a foreigner and your visa expiry date is less than 5 years.

Which are the Cannabis Licenses in Colombia?

License for the cultivation of psychoactive cannabis. These are the licenses for the handling of cannabis with + 1% THC, and it allows 6 modalities:
Seed production for cultivation
Grain Production
Manufacture of Derivatives
Scientific Purposes
Storage
Final disposition

Non-psychoactive cannabis cultivation license. These are the licenses for the handling of cannabis with -1% THC in its composition, it allows 3 modalities, which are:
National Use
Manufacture of derivatives
Scientific investigation

License for the use of seeds for cultivation. It allows the management of seeds for sowing, which includes the 3 modalities:
Commercialization
Delivery
Scientific Purposes

License for the manufacture of cannabis derivatives. It allows the transformation of cannabis for medical and scientific purposes. It includes the next modalities:
National Use
Export
Scientific Purposes
Note: This license for the manufacture and manufacture of cannabis derivatives is processed by INVIMA, and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection. On the other hand, the 3 licenses mentioned above are granted by the Ministry of Justice and Social Protection and other entities depending on which one is going to be processed.

Photocopy of the citizenship card, the immigration card, or a valid visa if it's required.

Tax Identification Number (NIT) for consultation in the Single Business and Society Registry of Colombia (RUES).

Personal sworn statement of the source of income signed by the legal representative and the accountant or fiscal reviewer, who must attach a copy of their professional card.
